Botox and Dysport are quick, non-surgical injections that are commonly used to reduce creases and wrinkles in your face. By temporarily blocking the signal from nerve endings to muscle, the targeted muscle weakens. Once the resting tone of the treated muscle is weakened, the pull of the muscle relaxes, and the overlying skin becomes flatter.
